This is a review for Mirian as my kids do not attend El Arbolito (we live in Atlanta now). Mirian was the teacher for our eldest son for a year however and did an amazing job. Our son has since been diagnosed on the autism spectrum and Mirian was incredibly caring and supportive to him during a challenging time at school.
Both our kids have also spent time at Mirian's beautiful home where she has created the space for El Arbolito. If you are looking for a passionate and thoughtful teacher and a space filled with warmth and a sense of community then I would definitely recommend considering El Arbolito.

"Our child felt happy, supported, and excited to go to school each day—and we left confident they were ready for TK."
We feel so grateful to have been one of the founding families at El Arbolito Preschool. We wanted a place where our child would feel safe, cared for, and excited to learn, and El Arbolito gave us exactly that. It was clear from the beginning how much thought and heart Mirian and her staff put into creating a nurturing environment.
The program strikes a wonderful balance between structure and play. Each month brought a new theme with creative art and sensory activities, special visitors, and opportunities to explore and learn through play. The Spanish immersion was another highlight, with activities and a syllabus to continue practicing at home. There was enough structure to build confidence and school-readiness while still giving children plenty of room to be curious, creative, and simply be young.
As parents, we always felt connected through thoughtful communication about our child’s day and progress. We also felt peace of mind knowing healthy snacks were being served, often including fruits and vegetables from the school garden.
Most importantly, our child felt happy, supported, and excited to go to school each day. We left feeling grateful for the foundation El Arbolito provided and confident that our child was ready for TK.
We highly recommend El Arbolito to any family looking for a warm, thoughtful Spanish immersion preschool where children have the structure, support, and freedom to grow. It is a special community, and we feel lucky to have been part of it.
With gratitude,
Crystal
